Play Tips for This Age

Babies may not respond well to play when hungry or sleepy, so short, frequent sessions while awake and relaxed can help. Screen time other than video calls is not recommended at this age.

When to Consider Talking with a Pediatrician

If your baby shows no reaction to loud sounds, doesn’t make eye contact, or rarely calms down even when held, checking in with a pediatric provider may be helpful. This information isn’t a diagnostic tool and doesn’t replace advice from a medical professional.
